Biography
Rory is a saxophonist based in London. After studying mathematics at King’s College London, he was awarded a scholarship for the masters programme at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Rory has performed at many of the UK and Europe’s top venues including the O2 Arena, Kentish Town Forum, Concorde 2 Brighton, Boomtown Festival, Dance Ska La Festival (FR), Mighty Sounds Festival (CZ), Conincx Pop Festival (NL), Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, The Vortex Jazz Club, The Cadogan Hall, Secret Garden Party, Nottingham Rock City and The Jazz Cafe.
Performance and recording credits include Lee "Scratch" Perry, Max Romeo, Raleigh Ritchie, Mae Muller, Kaidi Tatham, Black Twang and Lola Coca . Rory's playing and writing has received airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, BBC 1xtra, BBC2 television and Sky TV.
A band member since 2009 Rory has toured the UK and Europe extensively with reggae band New Town Kings.
